Pioneer Ships High-End Headphones

By Staff -- TWICE, 11/11/2002

Long Beach, Calif.— Pioneer has introduced HDJ-1000, high-end headphones with a futuristic look that offer lightweight design and exceptional sound quality.

Appealing to serious music lovers, the unit offers a 50-millimeter dome that fully encompasses the ear, giving users the best possible clarity. Maximum input is 3,500 mW.

Weighing in at less than 1 pound, the headphones offer plush padding for hours of listening and a compact folding design and swivel mechanism that allows the user to manipulate the unit for maximum comfort. Special screws hold the cord in place, making it simple to replace a damaged cord should the need arise.

Accessories include a plug adapter with screw, carrying bag and a 10-foot connection cord. Suggested retail is $199 and the headphones are available this fall.
