RadioShack Adds PS2 Bundles

FORT WORTH, TEXAS— RadioShack has started selling PlayStation2 Ultimate Entertainment Systems for the 2002 holiday season.

The bundle system, which includes both games and accessories along with a PS2 console, is being distributed to RadioShack on exclusive basis from Electro Source. Bundled games include: "ATV Offroad Fury" and "Gran Turismo 3," and accessories include a Grand Turismo strategy guide, two DualShock analog controllers with extension cables and $50 in coupons for gaming accessories at RadioShack. The system selling price is $299.99.

RadioShack will sell the systems both in its stores and through its e-commerce site at www.radioshack.com. The company said it has also developed a "special order program" through which customers can also purchase other game platforms and software options. Bundles will be available by special order for PlayStation, GameCube, Game Boy Advance and Xbox, it said.
