Kensington Keys On Workstation Wrist, Back Pads

By Staff -- TWICE, 11/4/2002

SAN MATEO, CALIF.— Reinforcing its focus on personalized comfort and productivity, Kensington Technology Group is introducing new ergonomically designed computer workstation accessories that include Adjustable Wrist Pads and Memory Foam Back and Seat Rests.

The company said the wrist pads/supports are the first full line of height adjustable wrist products available in both gel and foam. These are designed to be adjustable, allowing computer users to quickly and easily change the height of wrist supports from 1 1/8 inches to 1½ inches. The dual height positions are available in several wrist rest formats, including a mouse wrist rest, laptop wrist pad, keyboard platform and extended keyboard platform. Suggested retails range from $19.95 to $71.95.

The foam back and seat rests are made with a special pressure and temperature sensitive foam that dissipates pressure points by molding the body. The high-tech memory foam helps extend the comfort of any user during long hours at a desk. Kensington said the foam was originally developed by NASA to support astronauts experiencing severe g-force pressures during lift off. Suggested retail for both back rest and seat rest is $49.95.
