Lake Mary, Fla.— Jensen, a Recoton Company, is introducing the JNC50 Noise Cancellation Headphones, designed specifically for use on planes, trains and in automobiles. The JNC50 is said to reduce ambient noise by up to 70 percent, and to provide a quieter, more relaxing listening environment.
Activating the noise-canceling feature allows the user of these lightweight, mid-size headphones to enjoy music without the constant drone of an engine in the background. The unit has a dual plug adapter that permits the headphones to plug directly into regular audio sources or the output provided in an airplane entertainment unit. When complete quiet is desired, the noise canceling effect can be used without the need for any audio input.
The JNC50 features a fully adjustable headband hinged in the middle, enabling the headphones to fold in half for ease of storage and transport. The ear cups then fold on either side of the folded headband for the ultimate in compact convenience. Soft leatherette ear cushions and headband padding ensure comfort for periods of extended use.
Packaged easily to travel, the unit includes a carrying pouch and one AAA battery. Suggested retail is $49.99.
