Plantronics Ships Speaker-Headset Switcher For PCs

Staff -- TWICE, 6/24/2002

Santa Cruz, Calif.— Plantronics is shipping its .Audio PC Speaker Headset Switch, a product designed to make it easier for consumers to use either their speakers or their headsets on their personal computers.

Users can simply and quickly switch between the two without the hassle of unplugging the speaker wires before plugging in the headset. A push of a button switches speakers to a headset and back again.

The .Audio PC Speaker Headset Switcher installs in seconds and never has to be reinstalled. Its standard 3.5-mm gold-plated jack plugs directly into the sound card output speaker and microphone jacks of any PC or Macintosh.

Both the PC speakers and headset jacks plug directly into the rear of the switcher, and once installed, sit next to a user's computer, eliminating desktop clutter. Suggested retail is $19.95.
