AVAD Adds Retail Help Line

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.— AVAD has launched a toll-free telephone number to provide dealers with contact information for the group's 19 regional distributors.
The new number, (866) FOR-AVAD (866-367-2823), can help retailers access distributor locations, specialized training, news items, industry events and exclusive AVAD specials. Before now, this information has been available at the group's Web site, www.avad.com.
"We want to make it easy for busy custom installers to immediately access the products and support they need," said Joe Piccirilli, AVAD managing director. "We are committed to providing dealers with the tools to make more profit while saving time."
In other news, the distributor group opened its 19th facility last month. Located in Sacramento, Calif., the facility measures 6,600 square feet and includes a showroom, training area and warehouse.
"Our new location will allow us to bring another level of service to our Sacramento-area customers," said Tim Fitzpatrick, VP of AVAD Northern California/Select Resources.
Founded in 1998, AVAD is comprised of 12 regionally based distributors that operate 19 facilities nationwide. It specializes in specialty A/V and systems integration brands for the custom-installation market.
