STORIS Slates User Conference

Staff -- TWICE, 5/13/2002

Parsippany, N.J.— STORIS Management Systems, which provides backroom software systems for CE, majap, furniture and music retailers, has scheduled its annual User's Conference for Sept. 26-29, 2002 at the Sheraton Parsippany, here.

This year's event, which will carry the theme "Knowledge is Power," has been completely revamped to focus on client education, the company said. Sessions will include "Presenting Revision 8," featuring STORIS's new graphical user interface point-and-click environment; "Data Warehouse Hits The Streets," demonstrating the enhanced reporting flexibility and speed of Microsoft's SQL Server RDBMS; and "Internet Training Made Simple," which will review ways in which retailers can conduct efficient and cost-effective application and employee training over the Internet.

Highlights will include a keynote by author Dr. Kevin Freiberg on how retailers can apply "Southwest Airlines' Crazy Recipe for Business and Personal Success" to improve employee morale and customer service, plus STORIS' annual Gala Awards Banquet.
