DeCorp Introduces Flat Speaker Wire

Staff -- TWICE, 4/29/2002

Hendersonville, Tenn.— DeCorp Americas is offering its paper-thin FlatWire Ready flat speaker wire and corresponding interconnect products.

The speaker wire, which the company said is expected to dramatically improve the aesthetic appearance and lessen the cost of audio system installation, helps solve the traditional problem of exposed speaker wire. The new product simplifies the in-wall installation process, especially with a surround sound system.

The DeCorp wire can be hidden with paint and wallpaper, and the installation process can be completed without drilling or invasive installation. The wire is available in the performance FLT series at $1.49 per foot for a 14AWG wire and 99 cents per foot for an 18AWG wire.

The DePWR Precision Wave Response series includes a 12 AWG wire at $4.99 per foot and a 16AWG wire at $3.49 per foot.
