Olympus Intros Digital Voice Recorders

Staff -- TWICE, 4/1/2002

Melville, N.Y.— Digital voice recorder maker Olympus America, Consumer Products Group, is introducing VN-900 and VN-1800 digital voice recorder models.

Both weigh just more than two ounces and are ergonomically designed to fit snugly inside the palm of the hand.

New features for both include an easier-to-use jog-dial for quick navigation through folders and options, more folders (4) for organizing recordings, a convenient metal clip for shirt pockets, a smaller and lighter design for better hand fit and a new high quality recording option for the best possible sound.

The VN-900 stores 90 minutes of voice recordings and has a suggested $59.99 retail. The VN-1800 stores three hours of voice recordings and has a suggested $79.99 retail.
