irock! Links Portables To Home, Car Stereo

Staff -- TWICE, 4/1/2002

Schaumburg, Ill.— First Digital International (irock!) is offering the 300W FM Transmitter Wireless Music Adapter, which links portable music devices to any car or home stereo without cables or wires.

Simply plug the 300W into the headphone jack of any audio output source — MP3, CD or cassette player — choose one of four FM frequencies and tune the radio to that frequency.

Once the stereo is tuned to 88.1, 88.3, 88.5 or 88.7 FM, users get instant playback within the operating range of 10-30 feet.

The 300W weighs 2.5 ounces and is powered by two AAA batteries. It has a simple on-off switch on the front and a red LED that lights up when the unit is on. It offers a 6-inch flexible antenna that terminates in a mini-jack that is plugged into the headphone jack of any portable music device.

Suggested retail is $29.99.
