Kensington Mouse On Track With Mac

Staff -- TWICE, 3/11/2002

San Mateo, Calif.—Kensington has reconfirmed its commitment to the Mac community with the launch of its Turbo Mouse Pro Wireless trackball.

Bundled with the latest version of MouseWorks software, the Turbo Mouse Pro Wireless is said to be the first wireless input device compatible with Apple's new Mac OS X operating system.

The mouse's design includes six direct-launch buttons that can be pre-set to instantly access favorite Web sites, applications or crucial documents. It also has a radio frequency (RF) connection, similar to that used by cordless phones, that allows users to work freely anywhere within 6 feet of a computer.

Other features include four programmable buttons that work with MouseWorks software to create shortcuts for frequently used functions; an integrated scroll wheel; and stainless steel bearings that provide precise tracking and maximum durability.

Suggested retail is $119.99.
