Digital Innovations WriteAway Labels Go On, Come Off

Staff -- TWICE, 1/28/2002

Chicago— Digital Innovations has announced an enhanced line of WriteAway CD/DVD labeling products for customizing cases holding games, photos, music, data or videos.

The new WriteAway labeling solution features a specially formulated removable adhesive system so consumers don't have to worry about disc damage or lost data because of improperly positioned labels on their favorite CDs or DVDs.

WriteAway full-face CD/DVD labels and jewel case spine labels go on and stay on securely, said the company, yet peel off without damaging the disc when repositioned or removed.

The WriteAway CD/DVD labeling Starter Kit has a suggested $24.99 retail, and includes 16 CD/DVD and spine labels, 16 cover labels, 2 test sheets, an applicator and software.

Sold separately, 44 Jewel Case Covers are $14.99, a pack of 22 CD/DVD labels and 22 spine labels has a suggested $11.99 retail, and the 44-pack of CD/DVD labels and spine labels retail for a suggested $16. 99.

Digital Innovations also is debuting its i-SPOT tracking system for keeping tabs on cellphones, keys or remote control boxes. The system is designed to search broad areas quickly within a range of 40 feet. When a button is pressed, a loud tone signals the item's whereabouts. Suggested retail for the starter kit is $54.99.
