Terk Names Steve Roth CEO; Founder Now Chairman, Pres.

Commack, N.Y.— Terk Technologies has named Steve Roth, former president and CEO of ADI and Ademco, as chief executive officer.

Neil Terk, company founder, will continue as president of the company and assume the new title of chairman in order to "focus more creative energy on Terk's product development and marketing efforts," the company said.

In a prepared statement Neil Terk said, "I have hired Steve Roth and made some necessary organizational changes that will allow Terk to operate under the same standard we were founded under." Roth noted, "Our goals at Terk are to fully utilize our strengths in product design and distribution to expand our product offerings and anticipate new market opportunities."

At the same time Terk Technologies has added two product managers and a marketing manager:

• Joe Torre, product manager for Adirondack Direct, ADI and Global Directmail, has joined the company as product manager for Terk's AM, FM and TV product lines.
• Marc Mandelbaum, sound&communications product manager for ADI, has been named product manager for Terk's satellite radio antennas, DirecTv antennas and accessories, cellular antennas and the company's Leapfrog line.
• Scott Daugherty, senior account executive with Linx Communications, joins Terk as marketing manager and will be responsible for all marketing initiatives.
