Sennheiser Touts 'Drift-Free' Tuning

Staff -- TWICE, 9/24/2001

OLD LYME, CONN.— Sennheiser has incorporated its new Center-Lock auto-tuning into its RS headphone series. Called the RS 65 wireless headphone system, the company said it delivers very accurate, drift-free tuning and builds upon the features of its predecessor, the RS 60. Chief among the features is the SRS processor, which turns the headphones into a viable surround sound delivery system.

The RS 65 consists of a pair of high fidelity, circumaural headphones of Sennheiser's Open-Aire design, with an integrated RF receiver and a separate transmitter. A cradle in the transmitter recharges the headphones, which operate for up to four hours between chargings. Users control the volume from the headphones.

Suggested retail is $209.95 and the product currently is available.
