Wherify Top RetailVision Award Winner

LAKE BUENA VISTA, FLA . — RetailVision presented its show awards, which were voted on by attending retailers, with 10 companies divvying up 11 awards.

Wherify, a maker of wireless location devices, was the big winner, grabbing the Best Product, Hardware and Best New Technology awards. Accessories maker Targus was named Best RetailVision Vendor, while Linksys won the award for Best RetailVision Presentation.

The event marked the end of Belkin Components' domination of the awards. The accessories maker has been a multiple award winner at RetailVision during its last several events. Belkin's lone honor was received for Best Merchandising.

Imation won for Best Retail Strategy, and School Zone Interactive took the statuette for Best Edutainment/Entertainment Software. Retailers attending the show gave Roxio the nod for Best Product, Productivity Software, and Stuffbak for Best Product, Accessory.

The Logitech staff took home the award for Best Product, Peripheral.

Given out at RetailVision for the first time was an award for Best e-tailVision Services & Solutions, which was won by Inceptor.
