Gerard Kleisterlee, president/ CEO of Royal Philips Electronics, will deliver a keynote address at International CES on January 9 2002. Kleisterlee joins Samsung Electronics' Daeje Chin, president/CEO of its digital media business, William Esrey, president/CEO of Sprint, and Hewlett-Packard chairman/CEO Carly Fiorina as keynoter speakers at next year's show… Mike Williamson, an 11-year veteran of Sharp Electronics, rejoins the company as VP of its Appliance Division responsible for sales and marketing. Williamson has also held executive posts with Panasonic, LG Electronics, PNY Technologies and Vianix in his 23-year career.

Brent Bailey, design manager for Viking Range, has been named design director responsible for the company's product design area… Karen Murtagh, assistant VP/human resources for VAC Service, promoted to human resources VP… Scott Wellington, ex-senior marketing manager for Aiwa America, joins Haier America as product management director… Michael Cook, former president/CEO of Electronic Power Conditioning, named president/CEO of MTI, replacing Mo Wagner, who has been named chairman… HomePlug Powerline Alliance has elected RadioShack's Tom Reed as president, succeeding Conexant's Alberto Mantovani. Conexant's Steve Gardner has been named the organization's new VP… Bruce C. Swinsky, president and general manager of the company's Kodak Consumer Imaging business for the U.S. and Canada, and a Kodak VP, is leaving the company. Gerald P. Quindlen, general manager/VP, U.S. Sales, Consumer Imaging, was named regional business GM, U.S. and Canada, and vice president, Consumer Imaging, to replace Swinsky. Kodak also named Jude D. Rake to the newly created post of chief operating officer for the Consumer Imaging business in the U.S. and Canada, reporting to Quindlen…. Michael Hallhas been tapped as sales and marketing VP at Pixel Magic.
