GE/Sanyo Debuts Family Radio Accessories Products

SAN DIEGO— The GE/Sanyo division of Sanyo Energy is launching an accessories line of headsets, cases, batteries and chargers for family radio this summer.

Six SKUs of headsets are being offered within a suggested retail range of $14.99 to $29.44. These include ear bud design with single and dual plug, voice activation (VOX) with collar microphones and push-to-talk (PTT) with two ear hooks.

Four SKUs of fashion cases at suggested average retails of $10 include leather, neoprene or sport that are designed to allow full use of the radio and camouflage, crocodile or hip hues that offer elastic sides that adjust for custom fit. All cases are of universal size and offer removable neck and shoulder strap.

For longer run time, GE/Sanyo is making available high-tech nickel metal hydride AA and AAA batteries, as well as chargers, specially packaged for family radio. Average suggested retail is $9.99 and $19.95 for the chargers.
