MTX Ships Compact Car Amps

Phoenix - MTX Audio has begun shipping the TD Series small-chassis car amplifiers, which consist of two Class D monoblock amps and a four-channel Class A/B amp.The four-channel amp is the $299-suggested TD 75.4 rated at 4x75 watts into 4 ohms and 4x100 into 2 ohms. Class D mono amps include the $249 TD500.1D, rated at 500 watts into 2 ohms and watts into 4 ohms. The $449 mono TD1000.1D is rated at 350 watts into 4 ohms and 1,000 watts into 1 ohm.
All three amps are 2.13 inches high and 5.5 inches wide. Depth ranges from 10 inches for the four-channel amp to 10.3 inches for the 1,000-watt mono amp.
The amps feature anodized-aluminum heat sink and variable crossovers.
