Best Buy has named Mike Vitelli executive VP and president of its U.S. operations and Shari Ballard executive VP and president of Best Buy International. Ballard and Vitelli previously shared the role of president of the company’s domestic business and had additional responsibilities for operations in Canada and Mexico ... Neil Ashe, former CBS Interactive president and CNET CEO, has joined Walmart as president/CEO of its global e-commerce business. He succeeding vice chairman and former Walmart U.S. chief Eduardo Castro- Wright, who announced his pending retirement in September … Brian Poggi joins D&M Holdings as president, sales and marketing/Americas, reporting directly to D&M Holdings president, consumer group Tim Bailey. Poggi, who has held management posts at Polaroid and GE, replaces Bob Weissburg who resigned last July … Sandy Bloomberg, co-founder of Tweeter Etc., has joined Zvox as president. Company founder Tom Hannaher shifts roles from president to CEO … Tom Campbell named a corporate director by retailer Video & Audio Center.
