Panasonic Teams With Cenegenics For Healthy Hearts

By Lisa Johnston -- TWICE, 11/11/2011

Las Vegas - Panasonic announced its healthcare group has formed an alliance with Cenegenics Medical Institute, an age-management practice.

The partnership aims to support early heart disease detection and age management using Panasonic's CardioHealth Station technology.

The CardioHealth Station is designed to help medical professionals make quick assessments of cardiovascular health, and it has been specifically cleared by the Food and Drug Administration for use in the automated acquisition of carotid intima media thickness, and risk assessment, Panasonic said.

Panasonic will reportedly be providing more than $2 million worth of equipment and consulting services, and will double this amount within two years.
