Bob Hana Named HTSA's Managing Director

TWICE Staff -- TWICE, 10/21/2011

Chester Springs, Pa. - Bob Hana has been named the managing director of the Home Technology Specialists Association (HTSA), effective immediately.

Hana, a longtime industry veteran who was most notably president of Runco and later worldwide sales and marketing VP when Runco was sold to Planar, replaces Richard Glikes, who resigned Aug. 31 and subsequently announced he was forming his own buying group.

In a letter to HTSA vendor partners, Bob Gullo, HTSA president, said, "I'm proud to announce that after an extensive and tactical search we have found a proven business leader and creative strategic thinker to be the face of our proud organization."

Gullo also wrote that he met Hana in 1987 "when I joined NEC as product trainer. Many years later, I reconnected with Bob when he was at Runco and EDG was a Runco dealer. One thing I can tell you about Hana: this guy means what he says, and makes things happen. You can take his word to the bank."

Hana can be reached at reached at (847) 924-6271 or email him at bhana@htsa.net.
