Fujifilm Reveals X10 Price

Valhalla, N.Y., - Fujifilm North America said Friday that the recently announce X10 high performance digital point and shoot camera will carry a $600 suggested retail when it hits shelves in November.

The X10 was developed to continue on the advances made by the company's popular X100 digicam.

The X10 features a new larger 2/3-inch 12 megapixel EXR CMOS sensor and a bright high-definition Fujinon F2.0 wide-angle to F2.8 telephoto 4x manual zoom lens (28-112mm).

The camera is said to produce high quality images from edge to edge, and was styled in a retro blackout design accentuating the camera's traditional optical viewfinder with a wide 20-degree field of view.

Fujifilm will display the X10 at its booth in the Jacob K. Javitz Center in New York Oct. 27-29 during PhotoPlus Expo.
