He reports to Fred Towns, president of Jack of All Games and New Age Electronics, the company's CE division.

Culliton previously spent 21 years at Microsoft, the last two as national sales manager. Towns told TWICE at the NATM Buying Group meeting, here, on Wednesday that the appointment reflects a new strategic thrust for the gaming division, which will capitalize on the growth of the entertainment center as a key hub in the home.

Synnex acquired Jack of All Games last year in a $43 million cash deal that gave it entrée to the $20 billion video gaming business. The division distributes consoles, software and accessories by such companies as Activision, Blizzard, Electronic Arts, Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony and Take-Two.
