RadioShack Names Lively CFO

Fort Worth, Texas - RadioShack has tapped Ace Hardware exec Dorvin Lively as chief financial officer, executive VP and chief administrative officer.He succeeds former chief financial officer Jim Gooch, who became the chain's CEO in May following the retirement of Julian Day.
In his new role, Lively will be responsible for RadioShack's finance, treasury, financial planning, investor relations, corporate communications, real estate, supply chain and dealer functions.
"Dorvin is a welcome addition to the RadioShack executive team," said Gooch. "Because of his deep experience in retail and consumer goods, he will bring a valuable perspective as RadioShack pursues strategies in mobility, retail services and other growth platforms."
Prior to his two-year stint as chief financial officer for Ace Hardware, Lively held the same post at Maidenform Brands and served as corporate controller for Toys "R" Us and Reader's Digest.
