Steve Baker To Leave D&M

By Steve Smith -- TWICE, 3/7/2011

Mahwah, N.J. - Steve Baker, longtime D&M North America executive, is leaving the company as of April 1.

Baker's position as sales and marketing senior VP for Latin America was eliminated as part of the announcement last week that D&M Canada is reorganizing its business and closing an office in Markham, Ontario, on June 30.

Keith Kranepool, sales director for Denon and Boston Acoustics, and Kevin Zarow, sales and marketing VP for Marantz, will assume the responsibilities for their respective brands.

Bob Weissburg, president, D&M North America, said in a statement, "Throughout his 26-year career at D&M, Mr. Baker has served the company with the utmost professionalism and integrity. He has helped D&M significantly grow its market share in the Latin America market."
