Frank Barmakian, 86, Of F.B. Sales, Dies

West Newton, Mass. - Frank Barmakian, founder of F.B. Sales, Inc. passed away on February 26th at the age of 86.Barmakian entered the consumer electronics business in 1961 with Hetherington Sales in Weston, Mass. as a representative for McIntosh and KLH.
He started his own rep firm in 1969. Barmakian was instrumental in the launching of many fine specialty audio companies in New England such as Yamaha, ADS, B&O, Aiwa, & Sanus, according to the company.

Frank was great to work with - as were the rest of the Barmakian family. Andrea answered the phone with cheer and Ed and Lee were regular fixtures in Tweeter Etc. stores. Those were the days my friend! Condolences to the whole Barmakian family.
