Aerial7, Kangol Team For Headphone Hats

New York - Fashion headware supplier Kangol and headphone company Aerial7 have teamed up for a line of hats with built-in headphone speakers in the earflaps.

KangolThe Kangol x Aerial7 collection will debut in Manhattan this weekend.
Aerial7 said it has developed "an ultra-slim superior quality Sound Disk" that is inserted into specially constructed Kangol jacquard earflaps, also incorporating a microphone which is compatible with mobile devices such as the iPhone and Blackberry. 

The Kangol x Aerial7 collection is expected to be launched nationally in "fall/winter 2011" but the companies will give New York music lovers first crack at the line "in very limited quantities" for a limited time beginning this Friday, Feb. 25, at 6:30 p.m. exclusively at the Limelight Marketplace on Sixth Ave. in Manhattan.

The hats will retail for approximately $100.

The house disc jockey at Limelight Marketplace will wear the hats while DJing during the limited time they are offered.

Kangol is also offering an email giveaway of the hats. Those interested can email their name and address to aerial7@kangolstore.com. Winners will be chosen at random. Only one entry per person is allowed.
