iHome Teams With New Balance For Headphones

Rahway, N.J. - In another audio/athletic partnership, iHome announced it has expanded its line of New Balance headphones.

NB639The NB639 will be available this spring.
The NB639 ear buds are designed to monitor such things as heart rate and caloric burn using an in-line heart-rate monitor and a pedometer. It charges and syncs via USB, so no batteries are required.

The ear buds have removable rubber ear hooks and a detachable cord system. Other features include a calorie-burning counter, BMI calculator, real-time voice-over feedback, chronograph, rechargeable battery and stats tracker. Statistical data can be exported to a computer for record and evaluation.

More information about the headphones, including drivers and frequency range, were not available at press time.

The NB639 will be available this summer for a $99.99 suggested retail.
