hhgregg Opens 174th Store

Pensacola, Fla. - hhgegg will open its 174^th store on Thursday, here in this Northwest Florida coastal town.

The 30,000-square-foot location brings the company's store count in the Sunshine State to 23, and precipitates its entry into the Miami market later this year.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, followed by the official store opening at 3:00 p.m. and a grand-opening sale that will run through Feb. 5^.

"The opening of the new Pensacola store symbolizes hhgregg's commitment to Florida customers, and we look forward to providing residents in Pensacola and surrounding areas with a convenient place to shop for all of their appliance and electronics needs."

The multiregional CE and appliance chain plans to open between 35 and 45 new stores this year -- including its first in Miami, Chicago and Pittsburgh -- which would bring its total store count to well more than 200 locations.
