iHome Updates New Balance Line

RAHWAY, N.J. — iHome recently added a new model to its line of New Balance athletic-themed headphones, the result of a partnership first announced in August.

The NB464 foldable behind-the-neck Sport earphones feature interchangeable colored accent caps, interchangeable washable silicon ear cushions, a lightweight flexible body and 30mm dynamic stereo drivers. Frequency response is listed at 20Hz to 20,000Hz.

Other features include in-line iPod/iPhone remote and microphone to control volume, play/pause, track selection, and to answer/end phone calls and perform voice commands. The modular cord system comes with one 36-inch standard length cord and one 15- inch cord, along with a cord winder. The earphones are packaged with a drawstring pouch. Suggested retail is $49.99.

iHome also announced it has shipped its iB969 charging solution, which is engineered to charge up to four devices simultaneously. It can reportedly charge iPads, iPods, iPhones, BlackBerrys and ereaders. Suggested retail is $59.99.

The company is also now shipping its iB24 noiseisolating metal earphones. The earphones have 10mm neodymium magnet drivers and a frequency response range listed at 20Hz to 20,000Hz. Features include inline iPod/iPhone/iPad remote/microphone and a carrying pouch. Suggested retail is $29.99.
