TEAC To Supply PRO Group

Montebello, Calif. - TEAC America will begin supplying its line of CE products to the Progressive Retailers Organization (PRO Group).

Dave Workman, executive director/COO of PRO, said in statement issued by TEAC that his members "will have access to both the brand's innovative, high-end audio Reference Series 2010 line, as well as other TEAC consumer electronics products."

Koichiro Nakamura, president of TEAC America, confirmed in the statement that the initial access is for the Reference Series 2010, "a line of audiophile-quality components, and then expanded to include all TEAC consumer electronics."

This is the second such announcement involving PRO in the past month. In August the group said it would begin selling Harman Consumer's mobile audio products under the Infinity and JBL brands.

In a similar announcement prior to its annual spring meeting, PRO said it signed up SpeakerCraft and will carry its custom speakers and electronics.
