Hurd Joins Oracle

Redwood Shores, Calif. - Oracle has hired former Hewlett-Packard president/CEO Mark Hurd as president.

Hurd resigned from his post at HP in early August amid allegations of sexual harassment made by an outside contractor.

Hurd will report directly to Oracle CEO Larry Ellison.
