CEA, ESPN Pushes 3D At Retail Next Week

By TWICE Staff -- TWICE, 9/2/2010

Arlington, Va. - The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and ESPN issued a reminder that they will hold 3D TV demonstrations at retail locations nationwide next week, Sept. 10 -12.

"National 3D Demo Days" will provide consumers with intensive 3D TV demonstrations at retail locations across the country, CEA said. The weekend-long event will help educate consumers about 3D technology and how to bring the experience into their homes.

During 3D Demo Days, participating CEA-member retailers will demonstrate 3D TV with surround sound so consumers can experience the latest technology before purchasing, CEA said.

ESPN 3D will broadcast continuous 3D programming to retail stores across the country, including live coverage of the Miami vs. Ohio State football game on Saturday, Sept. 11, at 3:40 p.m. ET.
