PodFlexPro Makes Debut

Phoenix — Smart People On Ice threw its hat into the smartphone accessories fray this summer with the introduction of its first retail product: the Pod- FlexPro.

Designed to let user operate their iPhones, Droids or iPod Touches on a variety of non-traditional surfaces (over a treadmill, for example), the PodFlexPro features a protective sleeve and clear viewing window over a pliable endoskeleton. This flexibility allows the case “to grip, grab or shape to any surface,” the company said.

David Burzynski said in a company release that he created the PodFlexPro “out of necessity.”

Suggested retail is $24.95. It’s currently available via www.podflexpro.com and will be available through other retailers and e-tailers in about two months, a company spokesman told TWICE.

Zune and PlayStation Portable versions are being developed, the company said, but no timeline was given.
