The bundle, which DXG said allows for "easy filming and playback of 3D video and pictures with no glasses required," is available now for pre-sale at www.hammacher.com for $599. Shipments are set for Aug. 6.

The DXG-5D7V 3D pocket camcorder comes in a compact pistol-grip design and flexible playback options, the company said. Users can view, record and playback 3D video or photos directly on the 3.2-inch LCD camcorder display, on the included 3D 7-inch media player, or directly on a 3D TV. Supporting up to 16GB high-capacity SD cards, it can record in 3D and take 3D 5-megapixel still images, as well as capture 2D video and pictures, the company said.

Other features include 128MB built-in memory, a 3.2-inch LCD display, VGA standard 3D dual-lens technology and H.264 AVI file format, 5-megapixel resolution and JPEG format for still pictures, 3D-video-conversion software, HDMI interface and cable, and USB A/V cable for connecting to the TV or computer.

The DXG 3D media player features a 7-inch LCD display, and glasses are not required to see video and photos recorded in 3D, the company said.

The touchscreen keys and remote control of the media player not only allow users to view 3D and 2D videos and photos, but also let users control the built-in MP3 music player, alarm clock and calendar.
