MEGA Partners With United Servicers

GERMANTOWN, TENN. — MEGA Group USA, the national buying group for appliance, electronics and home-furnishings retailers, has forged an alliance with United Servicers Association (USA).

Under the partnership, USA will support MEGA’s self-servicing appliance dealers with management and training, education programs, government relations and marketing programs.

The pact marks MEGA’s first partnership with a services association.

“We are excited to bring our retailer partners this alliance with USA,” said Rick Bellows, president of the 1,500- member, 2,500-storefront buying group, based here. “Their programs will help our dealers bring even better service programs to their businesses, ultimately increasing their profi ts and impacting their bottom line.”

Paul MacDonald, executive director of the service trade association, said USA lwill conduct training sessions at the buying group’s upcoming national convention in Louisville, Ky., Aug. 23-26.
