FLO TV Adds PPV
SAN DIEGO — Making good on its promise to offer new services, FLO TV launched its inaugural pay-per-view (PPV) broadcast.The company began offering Ultimate Fighting Championship bouts on an ongoing basis starting with a May 8 event that was broadcast live as it happened and was rebroadcast continuously for 24 hours.
The price was $44.99 for viewing through the company’s handheld Personal Television and through installed FLO TV-equipped in-car A/V systems marketed by Audiovox.
The PPV service isn’t available to FLO-equipped cellphones, whose subscription pricing is controlled by the cellular carriers.
PowerBass Relaunches Web Site
CHINO, CALIF. — PowerBass USA relaunched its www.powerbassusa.com Web site, adding such enhancements as a photo gallery hosted by Flickr and videos from YouTube.In addition, product manuals and other tech information are downloadable in the new site.
The new version works best with the latest browsers including Explorer 8, Firefox 3.5 and higher, Google Chrome, Safari and Opera.
