Western Digital Debuts My Passport AV Drive

Lake Forest, Calif. - Western Digital has introduced an A/V version of its My Passport portable hard drive.

The 320GB My Passport AV is designed to play back stored HD content through portable devices, game consoles, computers and HDTVs via a USB port. Western Digital said it specifically targeted the drive as being seamless with Sony's Handycam recorders that use Direct Copy

The My Passport AV is now available with a $109 suggested retail.
