Atdec Debuts ‘Picture-Hanging' Mount For Super-Slim TVs

Kent, Wash. - Atdec introduced a universal mount that uses a picture-hanging technique for flat-panel TVs.

The TH-400-LED will retail for a suggested $89.99.

The TH-400-LED ($89.99 suggested retail) can reportedly hang a TV just 5/8 of an inch from the wall. Atdec said it can support any display with a 15.74-inch-wide VESA mounting hole pattern and weighing up to 100 pounds. It also features cable access support.

Jerome Green, managing director of Atdec, said in a statement, "Our main goal was to design a wire mount to accommodate all of the new super-slim TVs, but not add on another few hundred dollars to the purchase price. Using less parts and less material, our wire mount is a very environmentally friendly. We feel our price point will be the good news that is going to generate a lot interest in this category.

Availability of the TH-400-LED is scheduled for mid-March.
