Coppola To Pitch Sim2 Projectors In 2010

By Greg Tarr -- TWICE, 3/11/2010

Miramar, Fla. - Sim2 Multimedia said this week that it will use acclaimed director Francis Ford Coppola as a spokesman in its 2010-11 marketing campaign.

"We write an important page in our history as we proudly reveal our relationship with Francis Ford Coppola," stated Maurizio Cini, Sim2 Multimedia president.

The director of the classic Godfather trilogy was first introduced to Sim2 in 2008 when he was searching for a new projector to use in his work for his family's American Zoetrope studio. He acquired the model HT5000 to use on the final edit of his film "Tetro."

From there a working partnership evolved between Coppola, his engineering team and Sim2 in developing solutions that bring together the technologies needed by Hollywood Producers.
