VMP Goes To The Wall With New Mount

By Lisa Johnston -- TWICE, 2/26/2010

Stevensville, Md. - Video Mount Products (VMP) introduced a flat-panel flush mount that is designed in the "less is more" way of thinking, the company announced Thursday.

The FP-MF midsize flat-panel flush mount is especially designed for installs where 27-inch to 42-inch flat panels are required to be mounted as close to the wall as possible. The distance between the wall to the back of monitor can get as close as 0.7 inches, according to the company.

Load capacity is listed at 100 pounds, with a maximum flat-panel hole pattern listed at 440mm by 330mm.

"Beyond just getting a flat panel up off the floor, additional objectives have come to the forefront in flat-panel mount design ... including the 'less is more' philosophy," said Keith Fulmer, VMP president. "A minimal footprint, along with flush mount aesthetic appeal and functionality, have become increasingly desired ... The FP-MF's minimalist design is both installer- and user-friendly, reducing installation time across multiple markets, including residential, educational, security, and professional applications."

The FP-MF will begin shipping in the second quarter for a $56.95 suggested retail. It will be offered in two finishes: silver powder coat and black.
