HES Pairs With PARA For Spring Summit

By Alan Wolf -- TWICE, 2/8/2010

Home Entertainment Source (HES), the $1.8 billion A/V buying group, will team up again with the Professional Audio Video Retailers Association (PARA) on a series of educational workshops to be presented at HES's spring summit in March.

Keynoters will include SpeakerCraft CEO Jeremy Burkhardt and former Whole Foods and Starbucks marketing strategist John Moore.

“This year's educational sessions will give members insight to critical business issues and also present the group with new business opportunities that will help position them for the next decade,” said HES executive VP Jim Ristow.

The HES-PARA connection also includes Pflanz Electronics' founder Vance Pflanz, who serves as president of the buying group and chairman of the trade association.

HES will hold its spring summit in tandem with its parent organization, Brand Source, at the Hilton Anatole Hotel, here, March 27-30. Registration is now open, and members who sign up before Feb. 19 are eligible for an early-bird discount.
