Canon Releases EOS Plug-In For Apple's Final Cut Pro

Lake Success, N.Y. - Canon said Friday that it has released the EOS E1 video plug-in for Apple's Final Cut Pro.

The new plug-in allows easy transfer of video content from Canon's EOS d-SLR cameras directly into Final Cut Pro editing software.

The EOS E1 video plug-in will enable used of Final Cut Pro's Log and Transfer feature, which enables selecting and marking video directly while it is still on the camera, and add custom metadata and transfer the clips in the background so editing can begin immediately.
