Panasonic Hires Sanduski As Sales Sr. VP

Secaucus, N.J. - James Sanduski has joined Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company as sales senior VP.

Reporting to company president Shiro Kitajima, he is responsible for setting sales strategy, sales execution plan and retail merchandising/training requirements across the channels of distribution and the consumer product portfolio, including Viera flat-panel HDTVs, audio/video components, and Lumix and camcorder imaging products and accessories.

A 20-year veteran of the CE and IT industry, Sanduski has held high-level marketing and sales-related positions in Hewlett-Packard, Samsung Electronics America and Sony Electronics as well as marketing and financial positions in GE.

"We are very pleased to have Jim Sanduski on the Panasonic team, contributing his proven skills to building Panasonic leadership in the industry," said Shiro Kitajima. "Having Jim working with the channel partners to expand sales, and with Bob Perry leading demand generation, in his role as senior VP of marketing, online commerce and supply chain, Panasonic Consumer Electronics is well positioned to achieve the growth we expect this year."

Active in the Academy of Digital Television Pioneers and the Consumer Electronics Association, Sanduski holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska.  In addition, Jim spent two years at Nanzan University in Nagoya, Japan.
