Bell'O Bows A/V Furniture At International CES

By Lisa Johnston -- TWICE, 1/25/2010

Bell'O International recently expanded its line of home theater furniture with the addition of four new pieces.

The units were all introduced at International CES, held in Las Vegas earlier this month.

“Bell'O is committed to developing the most unique pieces of audio/video furniture on the market today,” Marc Sculler, CEO of Bell'O, said in a statement. “At Bell'O, we continue to set design trends and develop unique and highly functional home-theater furniture that set us apart.”

The AVSC-2201 is engineered to accommodate most flat-panel TV measuring up to 60 inches and weighing up to 125 pounds. Up to four A/V components can be housed, and, as with all of the new pieces introduced at the show, it features an integrated cable-management system to hide wires and interconnect cables.

It designed with a combination of cherry-finished wood and black powder-coated, scratch-resistant steel frame. The tempered-safety-glass shelves are tinted gray. Suggested retail is $349.

The AVSC-2202 compact audio/video tower can reportedly accommodate most flat-panel TVs up to 32 inches or 75 pounds, with at least three audio/video components housed. Features include cherry-finished wood; black powder-coated, scratch resistant steel frame; and gray-tinted, tempered-safety-glass shelves. Suggested retail is $279.

The PVS-3101 has a hand-painted front frame in a dark cherry wood-look finish. It can accommodate most flat-panel TVs up to 46 inches or 125 pounds. The scratch-resistant, black powder-coated metal frame can house up to four A/V components and is accented by black tempered-safety-glass shelves, Bell'O said. Suggested retail is $229.

Finally, the PVS-3103 boasts a “serpentine-shaped” hand-painted front frame in a dark cherry wood-look finish. It can accommodate most flat-panel TVs up to 52 inches or 125 pounds. The scratch resistant, black powder-coated metal frame can accommodate up to four A/V components. The frame also features scallop-edged tinted tempered-safety-glass shelves. Suggested retail is $329.

All of these products are scheduled to be available in the spring.
