Interead also today announced a partnership with NewspaperDirect to make available more than 1,300 newspapers and magazines from around the world to Cool-er e-readers.

The Cool-er has a 6-inch E Ink screen, SD card slot and MP3 player. It works in any country, said Interead, and comes in eight colors. It supports more than seven languages as well as the most common e-book formats.
