Clarion Adds 3G to ‘MiND' MID

Cypress, Calif. - Clarion said it has added 3G wireless capability to its mobile Internet device (MID), called the ClarionMiND.

Through a free software download, the ClarionMiND will work over 3G when used with an optional 3G USB modem, such as the AT&T USB Connect QuickSilver. The $249 ClarionMiND currently offers a Wi-Fi connection for Internet browsing and email.

Users may go to www.my.clarion.com to download the new software pack UP2.3UR.
