Sennheiser Updates PX Headphones
By Lisa Johnston -- TWICE, 11/19/2009
Old Lyme, Conn. - Sennheiser announced updates to its PX 100 and PX 200 foldable headphones.
The PX 100-II comes in black or white for an $89.95 suggested retail.
The PX 100-II and PX200-II both have
transducers with neodymium magnets that ensure a clear and natural sound
reproduction and a total harmonic distortion of less than 0.1 percent,
according to the company.
The PX 100-II is a mini headphone with an open design. Its frequency response ranges from 15Hz to 27,000Hz.
The PX 200-II has a closed design that's meant to reduce external noise. The ear pads have also been improved, Sennheiser said, to provide a comfortable "seal" against ambient noise. Its frequency response extends from 10Hz to 21,000Hz.
Both headphones - which have steel-reinforced headbands - come with a 4-foot, single-sided cable, and both have a "flip and old" design. The PX 200-II also has an in-line volume control.
They are offered in black or white for the following suggested retail: PX 100-II, $89.95; PX 200-II, $119.
