NPD Puts Holiday Research Online

Port Washington, N.Y. - The NPD Group, a leading market research firm, has launched of a new online resource for information on consumer spending during holiday 2009.
The site will also include information from DisplaySearch, an NPD Group company and leading resource for information on flat panel displays.
With the launch of www.holidaymarketresearch.com, NPD is consolidating key consumer and point-of-sale information on the holidays in a single location. The site will include results of NPD's annual holiday survey, which explores consumer spending levels, retail preferences, and purchase motivators.
The site will be updated regularly to provide access to holiday sales figures from NPD point-of-sale and consumer tracking services, DisplaySearch reports and events, and perspectives and insights from industry experts Marshal Cohen, Stephen Baker, Anita Frazier, and Ross Rubin.
The site will also be accessible via the By The Numbers section of TWICE.com and will be updated regularly.
