Fun's Emerson-Brand Lineup To Debut At International CES

Aventura, Fla. - CE manufacturer and distributor Fun Electronics will go to January's CES with an Emerson-branded lineup of notebook computers, netbooks, digital cameras, camcorders and audio devices. Products will ship in the first quarter.
Fun is the only company licensed by Emerson Radio Corp. to use the Emerson name on the planned products in North America. "No other company has been licensed prior to Fun to make and market the products," a Fun spokeswoman said. "Emerson has been in only some of these product categories before," she added.
Fun, which markets affordable consumer electronics worldwide, will display its products at the Las Vegas Hilton, suite 2929, and will arrange private meetings as well.
Emerson Radio of Parsippany, N.J., designs, sources, imports and markets a variety of home appliances and consumer electronic products. The company, founded in 1948, markets clock radios, iPod-docking speaker systems, boomboxes, nostalgia table radios, microwave ovens, housewares and Barbie- and Hot Wheels-branded electronics.
